Woo hoo!  I've been nominated/awarded the Versatile Blog Award!

So these are the instructions each blogger receives when she is nominated:
When you are awarded, there are 6 things you're supposed to do:

1.  In a post on your blog, nominate 4 fellow bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award.

2.  In the same post, add the Versatile Blogger Award.

3.  In the same post, thank the blogger (or bloggers!) who nominated you with a link back to their blog(s).

4.  In the same post, include 7 random pieces of information about you.

5.  In the same post, include this set of rules.

6.  Inform each nominated blogger of their nomination with a comment on their blog.

I nominate:
Natasha Marie from her blog, "Day by Day."
http://natashamarieh.blogspot.com/
Kellie from "Accordion to Kellie."
http://kelliefalconer.blogspot.com/p/blog.html
Alexandra from "Of Trims and Frills and Furbelows." http://oftrimsandfrillsandfurbelows.blogspot.com/
"The Dashwood Sisters" from the blog of the same name: http://hooks-and-needles.blogspot.com/ (Hi Melanie!)
Hope you all can participate!

Thanks Beast'sbelle for the nomination!  Here is a link back to her blog:http://nevergrowupdollguide.blogspot.com/

Okay, so here are the seven random pieces of information about myself.

#1.  I love to contra dance.  If you don't know what contra dancing is, here is a video that my brother took about two months ago at a big dance called Chance Dance:

#2. I love history.  A LOT.  I am going to be working this summer as a tour guide at our local interpretive center.  The interpretive center is a replica of our city's founder's (Louis Lorimier's) home.  I will get to dress up in a costume of my own making, and show people around.  It's going to be awesome!

#3. I am currently reading Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey" for the first time.  It's pretty good so far.  :)

#4. I have a Mickey Mouse waterbottle.  :)

#5. I like Easter more than Christmas, I think.  It's a lot less stressful, and it comes at the most beautiful time of year.  Plus, Jesus' Passion and Resurrection was the reason He was born in the first place.  ;)

#6. I have a paper Pascal on my desk.  Here is a link to make one yourself!  http://family.go.com/printables/article-938728-3d-pascal-papercraft-t/   (I had to include something about "Tangled."  I just couldn't help it.

#7. I will be singing in a choral union performance on the first of May.  It is the first time I've ever done something like this.  I think it will be fun!

Thanks all for reading!  Have a Happy and Blessed Easter!
